Paintball

Parmod Kumar asked:

Docking wheezing pellets, sprinting around for minutes at a time, wearing body armour fit for war.  Who in the world would be silly enough to spend good time to do all these, wearing all the more a face mask for protection?  Not to mention the number of bruises and hematomas you’d be getting?  Well, if you find these whether to let a week worth’s steam off of work or for some male camaraderie and bravado, then paintball is just the sport for you!

Paintball is a fast-paced physical and mental game, assessing the most tactical and objective player to the challenges of the game.  Like most recognized sport, such as those in the Olympics, not all events were considered outright part of the four-year sporting event.  Unlike marathon and track and field events, some were only eventually accepted only in due time.

The lure of paintball lies in the adrenaline pumping armed combat where the players are divided into teams trying to infiltrate each other’s camps while protecting their own.  Capturing the flag and bringing it back to base ends the game the team able to do this declared the winner.  Players are equipped with guns pumping out pellets filled with water-soluble paint.
Although there has been a lot of contentions whether paintball should be considered a sport , fanatics and aficionados alike has a lot to say about the physical and mental aspects of the game, whether it becomes accepted as an official sport or not, paintball is here to stay!

Paintball, Another Refreshing Game

Kevin J Smith asked:

An amateur sport now taken a professional look, paintball is a game of strategy and there is no correct or incorrect way to win it. The game is played by hitting other players with paintballs or gelatin balls those are filled with paint. Well, there are few basic skills that should be considered before you head out to face the opponents. Due to the fun involved in the game, it has become popular across the United States and whole world. Around 5 million people do paintballing every year with almost 2 million people playing 15 paintball games each year. To make the fun sport work, players eliminate other players by making sure that other person is visibly hit by a paint ball. The hits are only valid if player hits the clothes, torso, gear or anything a player is wearing like backpack. First and the most important thing is to make sure that you are using the right paintball gun in the play. Gun buyers will get ample number of equipment options in online stores. You just need to choose the gun that fit your budget and options you are looking for. Finding paintball guns on sale is just the right time for you to buy the equipment without giving it a second thought.

Paintball game is played in many ways but two major games played are straight elimination game and another one in which one has the objective of capturing other team’s flag. While playing a straight elimination game, there will be several players who are in charge for the offense while other players stay back. It is the mark of a good paintballing team that it will have many players whose main job will be to eliminate as many players as possible. Player is supposed to put himself into danger so that others will be able to move quickly and have good accuracy. More points are scored for capturing the flag in comparison to what you score by eliminating players.

Paint ball being a team game demands that everyone in the team should have a particular mission. Some players have offensive while others play defensive role. Working together makes it easy for the team to eliminate opponents quickly.

Mostly paintballing is done in parks with varied themes like historical battlefields, jungle and more. Major events are played at stadiums, military bases and fairgrounds. There are certain websites available on internet providing facility to organize gaming sessions by their own.
